Orlando Magic player Cole Anthony brought joy to children in the community by hosting a "Cole's Christmas" Christmas party on an NBA day off. Anthony and Planet Fitness sponsored the event.

Orlando Magic guard Cole Anthony took a break from basketball on Monday night to host a heartwarming Christmas party for children in the community, aptly named "A Cole Christmas." The event, held at the James R. Smith Neighborhood Center basketball court, was filled with games, food, raffle prizes, and giveaways, thanks to Anthony and Planet Fitness.

For Anthony, giving back to the community is a fundamental value instilled in him by his family. "It's really important," he said. "I've been blessed my whole life, and it's dope that we are able to get this together. I'm so happy how this event turned out."

Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley also joined Anthony in spreading Christmas cheer, reflecting the team's commitment to community engagement. "It's so great that we can join them in what they are doing," Mosley said. "It's an unselfish group (Magic players). They care about doing the right thing and giving back."

Anthony's dedication extends beyond the court. He is a finalist for the Rich & Helen DeVos Community Enrichment Award and is actively using his platform to help children reach their full potential. "It makes the whole process easy when both me myself and the organization's values align like this," he said.

The "A Cole Christmas" event is a testament to the positive impact athletes and organizations can have in the community. Planet Fitness senior marketing VP Scott Breault echoed this sentiment, saying, "It's incredibly important to give back and partner with like-minded organizations to put some smiles on people's faces."

Cole Anthony's "A Cole Christmas" is a heartwarming reminder of the spirit of giving and the importance of community engagement, especially during the holiday season.
